Text Box: Emily Elizabeth Stone was born in 1819 (date unknown) and died on the 27th of April 1886 aged 43 years old. Her maiden name was Emily Elizabeth Ashton. In 1863 she married William Alfred Stone in Fremantle and they later had a child named Frank A.W. Stone, born in 1871 who later died in 1875 at the age of 4. Frank was  buried with his mother at East Perth Cemeteries. Emily Elizabeth was one of 14 children with 4 step-siblings and her husband William Alfred ( born 1863) was the eldest of three children. Before Alfred married Emily Elizabeth he employed 3 Trade and Labor men and bought 5,230 acres at Beverley and 17 acres at Rottnest. Emily Elizabeth’s father was Henry Ashton who died on 19/4/1886 and her mother was Sophia Travers who was born in 1819 and died on the 11/6/1867. Also one of her brother’s Charles Barry committed suicide.
