Angela Sanders

Angela Sanders works as a conservation consultant based in Albany. She has worked on many varied projects since graduating from Murdoch University in 1989, including biological surveys, bushland management, environmental oral histories and habitat restoration. She has worked part time for the past two years with the National Trust of Australia (WA) Covenanting Program.

One of the highlights for Angela so far has been assessing the conservation values of the Fitzgerald River National Park Biosphere Reserve buffer zone during 1992-1997. This work led to Angela's involvement in the Gondwana Link Project that aims to reconnect the southwest forests with inland Australia. The first step is to revegetate an area one kilometre wide by 20 kilometres long south of Jerramungup on the south coast
