Lotteries Commission of WA

Jan Stewart has been Chief Executive Officer of the Lotteries Commission since May 1992. Prior to that, as Director of Community Funding for the Commission from 1990-92 Jan managed the allocation of Lotteries grants to charities and community groups throughout Western Australia. As Chief Executive Jan is responsible for the Commission's lottery business (which has a $445m turnover and Australia's highest per capita sales of lottery products), as well as the Commission's community funding which now totals over $125 million annually.

Jan is a member of the advisory committee of the Australian Institute for Gambling Research. She chairs the Asia Pacific Lotteries Association and is a member of the executive committee of the World Lottery Association (WLA). Jan is currently a member of the Advisory Committees of the Curtin Business School, the Institute of Research into International Competitiveness and the Curtin International Economic Research Centre. She also chairs the Patient Care Committee at Royal Perth Hospital, is a board member of the West Coast College of TAFE and has been a committee member for many community groups in Western Australia.
