Jill Turton

Jill Turton has lived in the Margaret River area for the past 15 years and has seen a marked change in the area. The rate of change is perceived in many varying ways and the attitudes of locals and new comers are often quite diverse. In many circumstances a 'happy medium' can not be met but seeing all sides of the issue makes for a very interesting living environment.

Jill Turton is the licensee for Stocker Preston Cowaramup, a Real Estate Agency working in the rural sector of the Margaret River Region. She has worked in the industry for about seven years and has experience dealing with a variety of property and purchasers.

Being a member of the Rural Chapter of the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia, she has been following closely the development of the Bush Broker's programme. She is currently facing the challenge of determining workable markets to sell the bushland properties that form part of her company's property listings. Jill sees the challenge as being community recognition that privately owned bushland is special and worthy of economic recompense.
