Nanikiya Munungurritj

Nanikiya is the Senior Ranger with Dhimurru Land Management Aboriginal Corporation.

Dhimurru is an indigenous, community-based natural and cultural resource management agency located in the township of Nhulunbuy, northeast Arnhem Land.

Nanikiya is a senior Gumatj landowner, has completed an Associate Diploma in Natural and Cultural Resource Management, and has represented Yolngu perspectives on environmental issues in a wide range of forums.

Most recently, he has returned from a visit to Philadelphia in the USA where he was an invited speaker at the 21st International Symposium on Marine Turtle Biology and Conservation.
