Workshop: Real Estate Markets
Chair: Mr Keith Bradby, Sustainable Rural Development Program, Agriculture Western Australia
Objective: To develop strategies to increase the conservation-based marketing of bush properties among real estate businesses across Australia. To develop strategies for overcoming impediments to landholders wanting to sell/market their property, or part of their property, for conservation purposes.
Workshop notes

Workshop: Non-Government Trusts
Chair: Mr Carl Binning, CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems
Objectives: Nearly all Australian States have established or are moving to establish independent conservation Trusts. Experience to date suggests that whilst Trusts have been very successful with limited resources, they are only reaching a relatively small pool of highly committed landholders. What strategies and institutional changes are required to increase the pace of private land conservation? What partnerships and alliances should Trusts be seeking to establish?
