Bringing It All Together - The Big Picture
Dr Judy Lambert (Community Solutions), co-authored by
Mr Carl Binning (CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems), 'Putting
the options into a broader context. How can we build effective
investment in nature conservation on private land, meeting
the needs of landholders, local communities, government,
and private bodies? Common themes and priorities for the
coming year'.

Field Trips
Hills Region:
- Paruna Sanctuary,
- Jane and Mike McIntosh's property, Mt Helena
- Followed by a barbecue at Karakamia Sanctuary and an
evening of spotlighting nocturnal mammals at Karakamia.
Transport to Perth will be available at the end of the
afternoon for those people unable to stay for the barbecue.

South-Central Coastal Plain:
- Lowlands, a 1600ha property within the boundaries of
the metropolitan area owned by one family since 1871 and
listed on the Register of the National Estate for both
cultural and natural heritage values.
- Griselda Hitchcock's property, Barragup, Jarrahdale
- Jarrahdale Heritage Park, areas of Jarrah Forest covenanted
by Millars Pty Ltd and donated to the Trust to form the
nucleus of the park, with the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale.
- At the end of the afternoon, participants can either
return to Perth, or join the barbecue and spotlighting
at Karakamia.
