Australia ICOMOS and Museums Australia (WA) present Cindi Malinck, the
Executive Director of Decatur House on Lafayette Square, and the Director
of Special Projects in the Stewardship of Historic Sites Department of
the National Trust for Historic Preservation in the United States. Explore
the conservation, interpretation and management of the award winning Decatur
House in Washington DC, which includes a rare urban slave quarters. This
special event will be held at the National Trust of Australia (WA), 4
Havelock Street, West Perth. Entry fee: $5 for members and $8 for non-members.

Joseph John Talbot Hobbs (1864-1938) migrated to Western Australia in
1887 and within a few years had become an acclaimed architect with buildings
such as the Weld Club, Boans Store and the Swan Brewery to his credit.
This Exhibition draws on the extensive collections of photographs, uniforms,
original documents and personal memorabilia held by the Army Museum and
the Royal Australian Artillery Historical Society. Opening time: 11am-
4pm Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission $5 included with Museum
