We recently posted in the Can you Help? section of WA News with a call out to connections to the Kalgoorlie Pipeline.
Do you have connections to the Kalgoorlie pipeline? Many people in Western Australia belong to families who lived at the pumping stations. Others worked – or still do – to keep the water flowing. If you have a connection, please bring your own picnic and join the National Trust at a reunion at No 1 Pump Station at the foot of Mundaring Weir on Saturday 19 October between 11 am and 3pm. Kalamunda Community Radio will be broadcasting interviews with such ‘pipeline people’.
If you know of someone, please share the invitation with them.
RSVP not required. Direct enquiries to the National Trust via 9321 6088 or trust@ntwa.com.au.
