The National Trust will connect the Perth community to Fanny Balbuk Yooreel with $40k Lotterywest funding and valued partners including Noongar Elders, City of Perth, Professor Sue Broomhall, ARC Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions, WA Inspired Quilters, and the Department of Aboriginal Affairs. The project includes a walk through Perth City, a public talk, map, booklet and academic symposium and short documentary.
The 2017 Australian Heritage theme Having a Voice, provides new ways of hearing about the life of this extraordinary Whadjuk Yorga.
