2024 volunteer recognition program
New 2024 volunteer recognition program
As a National Trust volunteer, we appreciate the enormous amount of time, energy, imagination and commitment you give to our cause. Without you, we could not fulfill our mission to connect people to the value of Western Australia’s heritage.
To acknowledge the ongoing support of volunteers we are introducing new and exclusive benefits to active volunteers.
Are you an active volunteer?
We recognise those who engage with us in a more active manner. Active volunteers are registered volunteers who have contributed eight hours of volunteer service per month to the National Trust. We determine if you are an active volunteer by the hours recorded (via volunteer sign in sheets). There are a few requirements to sustain an active volunteer status, and once the criteria is met, any applicable volunteer benefits will become available.
Further detail on the new status program will be provided in due course.
Uniforms for volunteers
Volunteers will be given options to obtain uniforms to wear when volunteering at National Trust places.
Membership for volunteers
Volunteers can enjoy exclusive National Trust membership offers.
Free membership for active volunteers
If you are recognised as an active volunteer, and meet the related criteria, we will offer you a volunteer membership at no cost to you.
Discounted membership rates for volunteers
We will continue to offer discounted memberships for volunteers – both individual and household types.
